How do you breathalyse a deer?

Motorists on some stretches of the A20 have noticed chevreuils on the road seeming to be drunk. It seems that the buds and flowers on some plants are so sappy that they  produce alcohol like symptoms  when eaten. Local chasseurs are called in to  remove the staggering beasts, but what a shock it must be to come across a deer who's had one too many. Buds - "a consommer avec moderation"
