The 50th aeronautic expo at Le Bourget, near Paris this week will see Toulouse based Airbus try to outdo its great rival Boeing. The Seattle firm will have a 787 Dreamliner on show whilst Airbus have its new military transport A400 there and BA will fly the British colours on an A380. Airbus also hope to fly the new A350 over Paris on Friday. Over 2000 exhibitors from all over the world will be there and billions of dollars worth of kit will be ordered - not least for Airbus planes; good news for the Toulouse workers as well as UK and German suppliers.
