Having discussed advertising with Malc, the safe head in the family has come up with lots of reasons why collecting money for charity may not be as easy as it seems. His first thought was, a lot more work, second thought would it all be legal even though the money was for charity.
I wondered if there was anyone who would fancy being the unpaid advertising manager, collecting the money and taking in the adverts for me to put on. Malc is skeptical that anyone would want to spend the time even though it was for charity. Are we allowed to collect serious money for charity with out being an accredited charity? If we did collect money we would need to widen our charities so everyone was pleased with where the money was going. Another idea which would mean we did not handle the money at all would be getting the advertiser to pay by cheque to the charity.
