A tip for a meal

Many people refuse to leave a tip (pourboire) as service is usually included (service compris) when paying for a meal, and they think that the staff are not rewarded and the tip goes straight to the patron.
Now a Toulouse charity is asking diners to add a "pourmanger" to the bill which will be paid over to other groups in the city who provided food and meals to poor and elderly people. Nearly 40 restaurants have signed up to the scheme and early indications are that it will be a success.
