Hi Val
We'd like to introduce ourselves. We are Chris and Helen and a year ago fulfilled a dream and bought a house on the edge of St Antonin. Our house is next to the gendarmerie - you can't miss us, the house that looks rather like a building site and has a statue of a nun, carved from an old Cyprus tree! The reason for the nun is that the lower part of the house used to be part of a nunnery for the Carmelite Nuns.
The house was rather run down and last November we commenced the mammoth renovations! It's a daunting task choosing work men and trusting them to get on with it when you're not on site and only visit once a month, but we have been extremely lucky to have had some amazing people recommended to us and are pleased to say we're delighted with the standard of workmanship, trust and professionalism we have encountered.
We would like to recommend ALL the artisans who have worked on our house
and are happy to do so if anyone would like to contact us. Most of them are well established and get plenty of work, but one in particular has only recently moved to France and set up a decorating business - advertised on Tag. He is Antony Baldwin "Ant". We'd like to give him a special mention to help his business get started. He has been brilliant at communicating, ever helpful, and totally trustworthy. His standard of work is excellent and prices are fair. We would heartily recommend him!

We simply can't wait for the completion of our renovations, spending our retirement in St Antonin, meeting new friends, and enjoying this very beautiful part of France!

Val says Ant has just collected his ladders this morning and I told him how pleased we were with his work. We can also thoroughly recommend him and will use him again.
Now he needs interior work for the winter.
