It was billed as "an evening to remember" and it surely was.
It was a perfect summer's evening - warm and still - and almost 100 people were settled in Jeremy and Iga's courtyard by the start at 8 o clock.
By turns thought provoking, uplifting, sad, joyous and at times downright moving the occasion was truly both a fitting evening of remembrance and a memorable evening's entertainment.
The congratulations and positive comments from everyone as they left said it all.
Thanks are due to Jeremy and Iga of course for their wonderful hospitality, all the performers including the ladies from Fifi and visitors from Montauban but most of all it has to be a huge BRAVO to John (whose idea it was), Linda and Trevor for putting together such a great show.
Next month ( 28th August ) we will be back at La Contie and Brian will host what is sure to be another good night for our last outdoor summer evening.
