Research is on going into lifejackets for the regatta.
Val Hughes and Celia Berry the Commodores and I will come up with a solution for next years regatta, to make it safer and meet any regulations. Look at the link at decathlon, these are a possibility. How are we to fund them is something we need to consider? Buying 8 small sizes and 6 medium and large would cost 210 euros. Any ideas? ( we have the offer of 4)

We cannot seem to find a law stating it is necessary to wear them unless white water rafting, but any activity on the water poses risks and offering life jackets seems a sensible precaution.
The canoe is now paid for.
