I certainly would like relations with the Maire of Varen to be good for all us " ressortisants".
It may be about to happen in the form of Marcia Scott as a new councillor and intermediary between the English and French speakers.
Marcia interestingly is Dutch married to an English builder, and has a mother born in Middlesbrough, the home town of Malc and I.
Marcia is a neighbour here in the countryside around Varen and is set on improving relationships, between the groups, which are not necessarily bad but can always do with improving.
Marcia has lots of ideas and we are having a chat tonight to put our heads together.
The email giving information about the "Anniversaire de la liberation" was sent by Marcia and it does perhaps mean it is a way of getting village info. by using TAG.
