A tumble a day keeps the Doctor away... I hope.

Yesterday I had a bad tumble, banging my knees, hurting my hand and  cracking my head. I tripped over the bottom of some ladders in the grange. This morning a bit battered and bruised I went out to feed the donkeys giving them the grey buckets. Whilst they were busy with those, I wanted to give them a small area of grass to clear by the hut which I fenced off yesterday.
I bent down  to switch off the electric current  and unbeknown to me Lucy had come up behind me. A nudge from her in the back toppled me over again and I lay laughing prostrate in the long grass ( do not think of ticks!)
The other donkeys came and gathered round to join in the merriment and when I stood up both Coco and Filou came for a  cuddle. This is the first time the little one Coco has ever made a move himself to come to me for a cuddle. Obviously falling over in the field did the trick.
When I came in for breakfast, Malc said" everything alright out there, pet?" When I burst out laughing he looked at me strangely,  worrying I think about the bump on my head the day before.
You are allowed to tick enjoyed.
