TAG wants your help with a male dog called Fanfaron

Unless you check ''Pets to go'' you will not know the story of Fanfaron, the lost hunting dog which a French reader called Cecile had taken in. Cecile lives on a farm at Espinas and has two bitches, she breeds dogs  when she has time. In November she watched poor Fanfaron going between Espinas and Verfeil totally lost. She eventually took pity on him and coaxed him in to be fed. As they often are these hunting dogs he was very timid but with time and love Cecile brought him in to the fold and found out what a lovely boy he is. The vet thinks he is between 4 and 5 years old and a very handsome boy as you can see from the photo.
Cecile is young and she has to work, her boyfriend lives on the farm with her but it is a busy life with all the farm animals. I received this plea from Cecile who speaks very good English.
Cecile's story

Fanfaron arrived here in November after several weeks of wandering between Verfeil ans Espinas. I worked a lot to approach him but now, as you can see on the photo, Fanfaron is an elegant dog, at ease with himself.

I have tried to look after him for several months because I have females dogs for my own breeding and it is very hard to manage with Fanfaron when they are on heat.

Fanfaron is a male of about 4/5 years old. He is very good with others dogs (here is a photo with mines) and, as we have a farm, we know that there is no problems with the others animals (cats, chikens, cows, horses). He likes the long walks but also to lie in the sun on a terrace !

I have had a word with Cecile and between us we have come up with an idea to stop the dog being sent to a refuge. Cecile really wants Fanfaron to be rehomed but in the meantime it would save her so many problems with her girl dogs if Fanfaron was castrated. I have made a pledge to Cecile that between us all TAG readers we will pay to have him castrated at a cost of 110 euros. and Cecile has promised to look after and feed him till we find him a new home, whenever that will be.

I have had 35 euros from Margot at Bazar Curiuex in St. Antonin for an advert and she is happy for that money to start off the ''Fanfaron fund' Malc and I will give 10 euros so we are already at 45 euros. Please send your 10 euro pledge money to help Fanfaron in time for the 22nd of June when Cecile hopes to have him operated on.It is only a small thing but will help kind hearted Cecile and Fanfaron in whatever his new life will be.

One  reader has brought round the 10 euros and another has pledged 10 , so  that's  65 euros we have so far.
