Jean-Louis Scherrer dies age 78

Jean Louis Scherrer was a fashion designer who studied with Yves Saint Laurent and then went on to have his own fashion house where he dressed the big names like Sophia Loren and Jacqueline Kennedy, and wives of oil barons.  When the  oil barons wealth waned he started to lose clients and his board organised a spectacular take over where when he arrived for work one morning a letter giving him his notice was on his desk
. He was very bitter, the company now is not in fashion designing anymore
