Chantal Morigault moved to Varen in 1988 for health reasons and has stayed on. Her garden runs down right to the edge of the Aveyron river along the road from the Moulin de Varen. Over the past few years we have noticed with the help of her gardener Antoine Ribeiro, the garden develop and flourish. This year Chantal has won the coveted prize for a potager jardin in the " Tarn and Garonne Town and Village Fleuris" competition. If you are walking down to the river her garden is easy to spot and is worth time to stop and admire.
