But this evening will be one of the "super moons" and will be visible at a time of day when we are still about, just after sunset at 16h52 and until about 21h. Apparently the moon will be its nearest point of the year and appear up to 14% bigger and 30% brighter. If, like Malc, you would like to photograph the moon try to juxtapose it to some person or object to show the contrast, try to be there when it is still low in the sky and don't over-expose it.
