Dear Val and Malcolm,
Two kittens found abandoned at St. Etrope on Thursday with no mother in sight. I am hoping to find a home for them. I think the grey one is a male and the tortoiseshell is a female.They were very thin and hungry but very friendly so obviously been used to people. The grey kitten is very forward and self-assured while the tortoiseshell is quiet and likes to be held.
They have had a warm bath, food four times a day and I will take them to the vet to be checked over. Few signs of fleas or other infestations. How people could leave such young kittens (they look to be about 2 months old) in a hedge to fend for themselves, is beyond me. However, if I am wrong and someone is missing these two, please get in touch. Or likewise, if anyone would like two affectionate kittens!
Let's hope they have a future. My dog would not take kindly to having two kittens in the house, otherwise I would welcome them. Oh, yes and they use the kitty litter!

Val says I hope someone in TAGland wants a kitten. From our experience every dog we have had here could be trained not to chase the cats. (All except Ruby!! )
