Someone said that to Malcolm about our donkeys this morning, but we knew it was because they were flicking flies away.
Dogs wag their tails when happy, cats wagging their tails means beware they are about to pounce and if our cat Max is wagging his tail, advice is to remove your hand quickly. Malc and I cannot think of any indication the donkeys give you of being happy. We know they like being brushed but they do not smile, or purr, but they do cuddle in to you.
