L'Eglise de Varen shook last night, with a packed church and it did not end there. At well after eleven we all moved out into the front street from the church to continue the singing, hand clapping and arm waving.
The Basque choir "Indara," fourteen men of all ages came to Varen to sing their wonderful programme. It started at 9 pm and the evening went so well that the men just could not stop, and we did not want them to. If you get the chance to hear this group, do go, they were just great.
