Inspiring leaders in the area

Read the letter below to see how a reader has been inspired by visiting Jan Lemmy and her  donkeys. The donkeys saved from some dreadful situations, often with painful hooves never cut or injuries of neglect.
Sometimes in your life you meet people who want to change things and will work steadfastly to do something about it.
Malc and I have always supported various charities but have never before had a chance to see and meet two people who have disrupted their lives to help others, be it children or animals.
Jean Marie Nosal who runs the Domaine de Sautou is one of these people. Forty years ago he had a holiday in Mali and as he sat with friends eating in a restaurant,  street children where eating scraps thrown to them, left by the diners. He could not bear it so came back to France, took out a bank loan and started his school and then hospital in Bamako, and has been raising money ever since for street children of Africa.
Jan Lemmy is the same sort of inspiring character, she loves donkeys and cannot bear to see them suffer. Both she and her partner have jobs and she still manages to spend all her spare  time looking after the donkeys in her care. If there is a donkey in distress that she is told about she is into her car and off to see what she can do.
For all those people who have been to see the donkeys in their now happy home I know you have told me how you were touched by the experience.
Steve is obviously one of these people who have been affected  and if you too want to help start by coming into St.Antonin tomorrow and buying raffle tickets from me, I will be there , 11am at the Gazpacho. Come and introduce yourself as a TAG reader
Just as a thought to show how committed I am [and Malc thinks I should be] I will wear a TAG business card in my hair so you know who to buy your tickets from. I would hate to see any of you accosting strange women!
Malc says Why don't you just wear a badge like a normal person might!
