After snowing all day yesterday we are promised a respite today with sun most of the day. Sadly the minus temperatures are making roads and paths very dangerous with snow and ice, now not melting.This is the time to be careful, only go out on the roads if necessary, that is if you have the option to go out. I reckon we will be stuck up here for our longest period to date. Yesterday morning I took a wheelbarrow with hay to the donkeys ,this morning the snow is too deep for the barrow. It is times like this that those large blue Ikea bags come in very useful.
