Early morning run to take someone for the 6.30am train at Caussade, then back to bed for the editor. A dull overcast morning but looking forward to lunch with friends at the Moulin de Varen. We know you like a cat story, so here is one of our Max. He has lost a lot of weight recently, as well as going through a bad tempered patch. So off we went to the vet. M Tondreau examined him thoroughly and pronounced him to be in fine form. His new leaner self was good - perhaps overweight before. So a worm tablet, a bill and off we went. We hate to think what he would make of Freddy, who is twice Max's size .
