Regarding names.
A couple of weeks ago in the Mairie in Cordes I was waiting to buy my annual parking permit. Ahead of me a very attractive young couple who were registering the birth of their very new baby. I couldn't help noticing that they have chosen the name Mycelium for this tiny innocent. I was tempted to ask if they know the meaning of this name, but didn't. According to the staff any name can now be regsistered in France, but surely there must be a llne drawn somewhere? ..
A wag at the book swap suggested that Mycelium could be the name of a Roman emperor. I do hope so.
