The Mayor of Bruniquel reports that the body found in the caves appears to be of a man who only ten years ago decided to opt out of his normal life as a reporter/ photographer and went to live in the caves. He was known locally as the Indian as he had long flowing hair with an indian style headband.
A local lady with a chambre d' hote says she saw him some months ago and when she had not seen him of late thought he must have drifted on. The caves were set up with pans, bottles of water and the odd stack of clothes.
Val says I hope he enjoyed his final years fulfilling his dream and that he died happy.
