Last minute details for the weekend One week to go! A number of things have changed since last year, so here are a few last minute details to help you get the most out of the weekend.
This year the second-hand book sale will take place in the school and will be open from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon.
The festival opening is at 19.00 on Friday in the salle des fêtes with speeches, a display of the school children's work with author Julie Eugène and an apéro dinatôire.
On Saturday and Sunday afternoons between sessions, you can enjoy free tea and home-made cakes in the school canteen.
This year we are lucky enough to have all 7 British authors with us for the festival dinner, allowing us to accommodate more festival goers. We still have a handful of places left. The three-course meal with wine and coffee included costs 28€ and will take place in the salle des fetes in Espinas.
There are still places available for Andrew Lownie's talk on The Mountbatten's (Saturday 16h00) and Patrick Gale's session (Sunday 16h15). Click here to reserve for dinner, Andrew or Patrick If you are making a day of it and want to eat in Parisot at lunchtime, the two village restaurants will be serving lunch and the bakery will be serving sandwiches, baguettes and homemade pizza. We recommend that you book for the restaurants as they get very busy and, unlike in previous years, we will not be handling the lunchtime bookings.
L'Auberge de la Castille 05 63 24 02 14 Fourchette & Cie 05 63 64 05 41
The authors and Festilitt team will be eating at La Castille, so if you want to join us, don't forget to mention that you're with the festival party when you book. |
