This interesting little chap was not caught on camera but was caught by the paint brush of bird enthusiast Jeremy Rewse Davies. The bird has been visiting a bird table in the centre of Varen where local residents Mick and Sylvia, also keen bird watchers put out seeds. It is thought to be a great tit variant / hybrid and Mick tells me that it is a actually yellower than shown. So if you see a bird looking like a canary in Varen it could be this little chap.
