In todays Telegraph

Julie Gayet, the actress allegedly having an affair with French President Francois Hollande, is a 41-year-old married mother of two who began her career to be an actress studying at the Actor’s Studio in London at the age of 17.
Her most recent role, in a satirical film titled Quai d’Orsay in which she played a vampish diplomatic adviser at the French foreign ministry, prompted one newspaper to query whether she got “advice from her new boyfriend on how to play the role?".
She has never hid her leftwing views and appeared in a promotional video for Mr Hollande's presidential election campaign in 2012 in which she described the Socialist candidate as "marvellous", "humble" and "somebody who really listens".
She has also appeared at several political events held by president and has declared her backing for the Socialist Paris mayoral candidate Anne Hidalgo.
Gayet, who is married to the Argentinian film director and script writer Santiago Amigorena, hails from the wealthy Paris suburb of Suresnes and is the daughter of a surgeon and an antiques dealer.
