Parachuting off the bridge at Millau

Since the bridge at Millau has been opened, people have taken to parachuting off it.  Yesterday a parachutist jumped off but with the wind was pushed back, trapping him on the bridge. A highway patrol came along and rescued him but gave him a ticket charging him 38 euros for walking on the hard shoulder. Oh! dear.
