The hills and valleys are lightly covered with a layer of what could be hail. The roads and paths are clear but could be slippy. The view from the salon window makes you shiver even in the warmth of the house. It does not seem to be windy. The donkeys are peeping out of the stable door with Filou, the big ugly chap peeping out of the window. He is the only one tall enough to peep out of there. I can hear the stamping of hooves, stamping to warm themselves up or impatiently wanting us to go and gave morning hay. We will have to take over watering cans of warm water as their buckets of water will be frozen.
It is the book swap this morning but we will not be there both have long awaited appointments with a dermatologist in Albi and we will end up with "boutons rouge" for a week or so.
