Cars made from wood

Alain, a cabinet maker in Salvetat-Peyrales, Aveyron started as a restorer of old cars, then decided to make scale models in walnut. So precise are his models that he now makes his living reproducing luxury cars at 1/10th scale.
His clients include the Sultan of Bahrain for whom he has made a Ferrari, Bentley even a Roller.
Readers who would like to have their favourite vehicle immortalised can expect to pay 4-5000 euros per model.
