Fire closes peage barrier

A car passing through the peage barrier at L'Union on the Albi-Toulouse A68 on Friday evening caught fire, causing the area to be engulfed with smoke.
The motorway operators, Vinci, opened the barriers to allow motorists to pass through quickly before the autoroute was closed to allow the pompiers access.
