We are looking for a house in or within walking distance of a village/small town, with at least 140sqm of liveable space. We prefer large rooms, not lots of small rooms, so a large lounge (30sqm +) and two/three bedrooms would be fine. We would prefer a renovated house with a lot of character, be it old or modern, but not an off-the-peg villa. We do not want a lot of land, just enough for a small garden and a 10x5 pool if there is not a pool already. Garage/parking/store for bicycles.
We have sold our house and are renting while we look around so we are able to make a quick decision and we would like to move in quickly. Our top price, including fees and taxes, is 250,000 euros.
