Have you ever seen faisan for sale locally? Apparently chasseurs are not allowed to sell game, unless they are on an exempted list. We often see faisan in our lower field bushes and as they come and go we imagine they must get caught now and then.
But you do not see them on sale in supermarkets or the butchers do you?
We enjoyed one last night out to dinner, but what is faisan you ask?
