Nous sommes le mardi huit septembre

What a busy day yesterday.
The book swap where we brought home all the books to be unpacked and then we helped unpack Caroline's car. Then we had a visit from the vet who needed to perform a small operation on Rosie's ear. Now that would not have been so bad but the donkeys are in a field down the road and I had to keep running up to the house for clean water for sterilising, then water for the donkeys buckets, then help as Rosie had a morphine injection. She was a dozy little angel and stood looking dazed in the field for a couple of hours afterwards. Matthew arrived in the middle of all this to look at how much stuff there was. Then we got a phone call from a friend who had arrived from the UK to discover another friend who had gone on holiday had their keys. Along with numerous requests for different things from TAG readers. Oh! and the renters who had a problem with hot water, swiftly sorted.
Dogs needed an afternoon walk, Rosie needed checking again to see she had recovered! phew,
some days your head spins with everything that goes on up here!
Bet you are just the same. ( but without the donkeys)
