Angela Merkel is looking to the future when they will need workers across the board to pay for the ever growing number of pensions for the elderly. The refugees are young and fit and want to work.
They are taking all, including young fit men.
The Uk is taking I think 25,000 and choosing women and children from the camps, which sounds a worthy choice but surely families across the board with a working male would help the economy more?
But the story is about France stepping up to the mark.
