An unbelievable story with a happy ending

A group of friends had spent the night before last at the fête at Lansac near Souillac. The group was aged between 18 and 20, many of them are rugby players for the local club. They all decided to stay overnight near the river, the Dordogne. Yesterday morning they found a harpoon gun normally used for fishing. A shot was fired accidentally and the fleche/ arrow went straight into the head of one of the boys. Emergency services were called and the youth was helicoptered off to hospital.
To everyone's surprise the news is good, the arrow has been taken out and recovery of the lad is underway. How lucky is he, one of his lives down.
