Finally he throws in the towel and is shown the door

Joseph Blatter finit par lâcher la barre says The Depeche, which is a bit like throws in the towel, but translates as lets go of the bar.

The world now wants to see some transparency in FIFA and its transactions and controlling the huge amounts of money passed around from sponsors and possible bribe money. Blatter at 79 has been in the post since 1998 and hearts sank around the world when he gained a 4th mandate, voted for by amongst others Asian and African nations.  We now hear Blatter is being investigated, How could he be head of FIFA and not know what deals were going on around him, he in my mind is responsible for the present state of the organisation and I love the photo which is going around the world of him being shown the door.  
Malc tells me the French representative admits to voting for Blatter!
