7th Wicker Festival
on Sunday 8th of February 2015, Milhars
From 10am:
Discover all the Wicker Artisans exhibiting their show pieces and come and enjoy wickerwork workshops for all.
Learn pruning and cuttings techniques in the willows with Sylvie Gravier and take part to a creation made of willow: a giant basket!
Enjoy the book stand or discuss your love of gardening with Bernard Huet and his friends.
Buy wicker bundles or cuttings from volunteers of The Milhars Flowering Group. All profits will be used to improve the village landscape.
Discover the art of forging with Milan Gravier.
Come and meet to exchange or discover a savoir-faire, techniques and passions.
Dance and listen to a young local group from 6pm: Bal Trad’
Free entrance, but donations will be welcome.
Meal: please bring a dish and a pudding to share with everyone. The Milhars Flowering group will bring for all a local soup, wine and bread.
Don’t forget your plate for the soup, cutlery and….secateurs!
