FET gives us a taste of Christmas and delicious it was

Lovely evening yesterday at Le Colombier Theatre, near Cordes sur Ciel. The Friends of the English Theatre (FET) presented A Thousand Years of Christmas, with soprano Sally Bradshaw, actor Donald Douglas and pianist Michael Haslam.
A packed house enjoyed a mixture of songs and readings ranging from medieval to modern. Some very funny moments, some poignant. All a reminder that Christmas is about more than mince pies - though they were available too after the performance.

  Celia Berry Absolutely agree, wonderful evening. We are so lucky to have such talented people on our doorstep. Am off to look out the poem about Prinderella and the Cince - thought it was terrific.
