Blowing from the north the Tramontane wind is sweeping over the fields and woods, blowing leaves off trees , not too strong but distinctly chilly. The wind sweeps down between the Pyrenees which have had snow and the Black Mountains. I much prefer the warm winds of the vent d' autan, which is a wind from the south or east. The first morning I fed the outside pets wearing coat, hat and gloves.
