Can you remember this story which rocked the English and French newspapers a year ago. Patricia had a stormy relationship with her handyman / gardener and when she went missing her blood was found in his car. Not only his car but in her kitchen where the amount of blood scattered about made the gendarmes say it was impossible for her to still be alive. Also found in his home a caravan, money he had drawn from Patricia's account was found by the gendarmes. Friends said that Patricia was frightened of the man after finishing a relationship with him. Sadly her body has never been found and Jean Louis Cayrou, the principal suspect will be allowed out of prison with an electronic tagging bracelet this week end. Gendarmes are still searching periodically for the body in the Sanvensa region.
Surely he could have been brought to trial after all this time?
