The gendarmes intercepted a disabled lady in a wheelchair on the way to St. Jacques de Compostelle but travelling on the Toulouse motorway bypass. The 45 year old lady had been ill quite some time, had difficulty with speech and suffered depression after an accident left her in a coma a few years ago.
Let us hope the gendarmes got her on the right route and she gains some benefit from the pilgrimage.
