Short for impeccable, useful to have on the tip of your tongue and easy to say. Well my donkeys were " impec" this morning having their hooves trimmed by the marechal ferrant / blacksmith. The marechal we have known now for 5 years. He has a son who aged 9 used to come with his Dad. He and Malc played boules whilst Patrick ( his Dad) and I sorted out the donkeys. Malc always got a ticking off afterwards for not letting the lad win. That boy is now 14 and last year was the Junior Champion of the region and just missed out by one place being in the Junior Championships for France. Patrick Rossetti as well as being a blacksmith is " passione" about boules and runs a training club for young boules players. Malc suggested that if he wanted more TV coverage for boules they should make the balls coloured, so a red team versus a blue team for example, much easier for spectators to follow. Patrick is going to suggest it to the governing boules body as he thought it an excellent idea. ( should have patented the idea Malc ) Anyway if interested in boules watch out for the name Rossetti. If he becomes Champion of France Malc will be able to say, " I used to thrash him"
